The Handheld Head is used to create the look and feel of handheld shots while on a tripod dolly or other form of solid camera support. Each unit is handmade from Baltic Birch plywood with other materials that are easily replaceable. The intention behind this handheld head is to have an affordable solution to create handheld style shots without breaking your back or your wallet.

The center is a common 4 inch inner tube for things like wheelbarrows and utility carts. They can support heavy payloads and are also easily replaceable.

Attached to the tube is a simple inflator extension hose allowing you to add or remove air depending on how much bounce or tension your shot needs.

The band used to hold the plates together is a Theraband brand tubing which is used mostly for exercise and resistance training. The band is designed for repeated stress and stretching and is easy to find and affordable to replace if needed.

The top plate has two pre drilled 3/8-16 holes that line up with most existing RBQ plates. The bottom plate has two 3/8-16 threads for attaching to quick release plates.
